YFly.com Spreads Its Wings

Update: The full interview with YFly’s co-founder and CEO Drew Levin is available here.

————————————————

YFly.com is up and running! According to co-founder and CEO Drew Levin, the site officially opened last night at one minute past midnight.

Some of the site’s pages are still under construction, but the home page features an informational video and the Press section addresses basic questions about the online community.

Let’s give the team a chance to get this social networking site off the ground. As Internet attorney and online safety expert Parry Aftab says in a comment on my earlier post,

"They are working on trying to get the PR communications part working better…they have been so busy building the site, it isn’t as smooth as it should be."

Actually, YFly.com’s media coverage so far hasn’t been too shabby. In addition to the BusinessWeek blurb last month, a short article appeared in People on Wednesday. And stay tuned, I’m slated to speak with one of the site’s co-founders next week.

  1. So they got back in touch with Andrea? That’s good. I’m sure you already know this, but as I’ve learned recently, such interviews can take a while to come to fruition. But I do think it’s something different that not many blogs are doing, so that’s definitely a good thing.

  2. Mack,

Yes, they contacted me and I’m pleased that I’ll get the chance to speak with them next week. Should be a good talk.

  3. Good deal, I’m sure it will be very interesting!
