Wiki-Based Legal Dictionary and Encyclopedia

The Legal Information Institute of Cornell University Law School has created a wiki-based legal dictionary and encyclopedia named Wex, reports the American Bar Association Legal Technology Resource Center’s Site-tation.

Unlike Wikipedia’s writing and editing requirements, Wex’s contributors must have "demonstrated expertise in particular areas of law,” must be interested in educating novices such as law students and members of the lay public, and must be strong communicators. Currently only invited individuals can make contributions and edits.
